Grievance Procedure

A Turning Point of Colorado Springs, Inc. will manage all grievances, which equates to an expression of dissatisfaction of services provided, which are verbally expressed or delivered in a written format and are brought to the attention of this office by any individual receiving services at this office in the following manner:


A Turning Point of Colorado Springs, Inc. strives to provide a fair grievance resolution process, by providing the individual with a resolution no later than fifteen (15) business days from submission of the grievance:


The grievance procedure is as follows:


A Turning Point of Colorado Springs, Inc. will assist the individual in resolving any grievance by first allowing the program to try and resolve the grievance.

If the grievance cannot be resolved at the agency level, the grievance will be referred to Diversus Health, in an effort to resolve the grievance.

If the grievance cannot be resolved through Diversus Health, the client will then be directed to the Behavioral Health Administration and the Department of Regulatory Agencies.

Any submitted grievances will be maintained in a file, separate from the individuals file, which will include the type of grievance, the date of the grievance, any subsequent documentation pertinent to the grievance, as well as the outcome of the grievance investigation. Any grievances will be reported to the Behavioral Health Administration annually.
